Paga Park

Paga has been a very serious tourist attraction over the years.
The famous domestic crocodiles have manifested their amphibious character in this town – living in homes with indigenes, laying and burying eggs on farms and once in a while predating on goats and sheep in the neighborhood. Overtly to the displeasure of one or two, but you dare not attack or even frown on a such predatory acts because it is believed that they are part and parcel of the community. That’s the famous Crocs.

The infamous Pikworo Slave Camp situated in Nania – The birthplace of the football maestro, ABEDI AYEW PELE, is also about three miles from the Paga main town. Many stories have we heard of our able-bodied ancestors and their slave masters using that place as a transit point on their way to the coast. Soaking the sun in tamed shackles and the whips of their agonizing shepherds.

It is very clear that Paga has been a destination for many a tourist.
